Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since late 1980s. Her work has earned her recognition by the media and for her television performance since the 1980s. The awards she has won include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and was raised by her aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett's mother had split from her father at around five. Bassett and her younger sister moved from the city of St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was in high school when watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal to become an actor been born. The year was 1980 and Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year. She attended the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure film, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
